Dedicated Care Health Services serves adults; male and female, with a primary diagnosis of developmental disabilities who may have a secondary diagnosis of mental illness.
Our programs are based on the values that everyone has needs and deserves to belong, to be loved, to be treated with dignity and respect, to be self-directing, and to be recognized for their inherent value as a unique person.
OUR BEST SERVICES
Our services are person-centered and address the strengths and the needs of the individual. Services are provided in a manner that emphasizes and supports the individual's health, safety, choice, self-determination, independence, and total well-being.
We also believe that diversity of opportunities, integration, participation, and satisfaction are key to a good life for the individual.
RESIDENTIAL STAFF
Our residential staff have many years of experience working with the mental health and DD population and are familiar with not only the Northern VA but also the Prince William County community.
Our QIDP has over 6 years experience working with the population; our Residential Manager, plus 30 years of experience, and all other DSPs equally have over 5 years each of experience providing person-centered services to DD population. They have all received the required training including TOVA, with clean background checks.
OUR MISSION
To provide 24 hour supervised, quality residential care in a nurturing, warm home-like setting for adults with developmental disabilities.
We strive to promote skill development, progressive use of leisure time, community socialization and personal development to be able to live, work and be an active citizen in the community.
OUR APPROACH
Our programs are based on the values that everyone has needs and deserves to belong, to be loved, to be treated with dignity and respect, to be self-directing, and to be recognized as a valued member of the community with the same inherent rights as anyone else.
Our scope of supportive services is focused on serving individuals with Developmental Disabilities, as well as Pervasive Developmental Disorders, such as Autism in a safe and home-like setting. We design therapeutic person-centered programs with the collaboration of our individual, their family members and our team of trained professionals. Our goal is to facilitate independence and personal growth to attain one’s goals and dreams.
